Condition: Very good.

Notes:  This old Heriz is typical of its genre in that it uses only the best natural dyestuffs and superb hard-wearing yarn. The construction is massive with heavy cotton wefts and warps. Although the weave is coarse in these Heriz's they are excellent carpets. Nowhere else do carpets of similar weave density have such a good construction or so much individuality of design and colouring. The pseudo-geometric floral design shows it's village origins, yet it is understated and elegant, not overly busy.
